Hi y'all!

This week I want to focus on the exciting trend of New Muralism. When Graphic Design(ers) and Street Art(ists) merge, something magical happens.  This trend can be described as using contemporary design aesthetics in a street art context.

As seen in the rad artworks above, some design studios are rapidly changing the way we think about street art.  And contemporary street artists are also approaching a more fresh and fun look and feel.

The eye candy above are some amazing murals by street artists PeachBeach (Germany) http://www.peachbeach.de/pb/?cat=6#038;paged=1 and TheYok (U.S.A) http://theyok.com/content/Outdoors/.

Some studios we discovered that are creating the most vibrant and fresh murals, street art pieces and interior wall coverings are:

We will continue to cover New Muralism as it's a very contemporary and trending topic in street art.  What we will not do, however, is show you ugly street art or graffiti. Gross! Check back soon for more street art goodness. In the meantime tell all your cool friends about this rad blog.

Feel free to comment, share and post.

Ciao!
