Heita!

This week we're keeping it local.  As we are based in South Africa, we are especially amped about the upcoming street art culture in main urban areas across the country.  Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and other cities are establishing street art as a viable mode of creative expression.  And especially with our rich cultural, historical and political background, you can expect this momentum to just keep on going.

Some prominent players in the ZA street art scene are already making waves abroad. Obviously the iconic Cape Town based artist Faith 47 has a prominence in South African street art.  Check out her dope murals, all done in monochromatic goodness!

Street art meets social issues.

Some other rad local artists include DAL, Senyol, Nuria and Freddy Sam. Most of them based in the Mother City.
